ugly betty in NY?

The Ugly Betty cast began filming in New York for their new season. Michael Urie and Becki Newton have been doing recent press and say that everyone is loving the new location. The writer’s strike definitely hurt the Ugly Betty storyline. Hopefully it can recover in it’s new location! Also, rumor has it the Lindsay Lohan will begin shooting her storyline in the next few weeks. You may recall that the series hyped Lohan’s appearance for which the actress has around 3 lines and 40 seconds of screen time.

NO! NO YOU CAN’T! The 2008 Emmy nominations are in and Dana Delany from ABC’s Desperate Housewives has been snubbed! The woman who finally brought Desperate Housewives back to its original quality is missing from the list of nominees. Hopefully the new housewives twist will keep the episodes at the level they’re at now and Delany can go for “Lead Actress” next year!

Oh shit. I cannot believe I am going to say this… but I actually agree with something Elisabeth Hasselbeck is saying. I know, I know. In this clip, the women on “The View” are talking about the private and pop culture usage of the “n” word. I have never been able to understand the debate as to why African Americans are “allowed” to use the word while white people can’t. I feel like in a generation that is constantly changing and evolving we should stop using such hatred slang to describe one another. Watch the clip and find out who you agree with.

gossip girl season 2?

Recently I came across the promo videos for season 2 of Gossip Girl and I can’t wait for September 1st! Although I would have much preferred the original finale – car crash leaves Chuck’s dad dead, Serena’s mom on the side of the road crying and Chuck stuck in traffic because of the car accident ahead of him – I still can’t wait to find out what happens to my favorite upper-east-siders. Who knew Josh Schwartz could create two great shows in the two places I want to live!

new project runway?

Project Runway Season 5 premiers on Bravo tonight at 9PM EST! This show is one of my favorites to watch, no matter how lame the challenge is I’m always interested on the designer’s final product.

*spoiler alert* Rumor has it this season they will have a drag queen challenge with guest host Ru Paul!

dead callie o’malley?

With all the hype about Katherine Heigl’s character, Izzie Stevens, possibly getting the axe next season on Grey’s Anatomy (read about it here) – I would like to offer this solution instead. Fuck killing Izzie Stevens, let’s give Callie O’Malley a braintumor instead! This woman has never offered anything to the Grey’s cast. She has been developed as a toss-away character from the moment they introduced her. Her talents include (and are limited to): crushing bones, getting divorced, and kissing ugly women. She is unnecessary and disposable.
